So recently I lied to my teacher by telling her some peronal information that has been over exaggerated. It all started with me not turning in something and I didn't lie about the issues but I outstretched them. Weeks passed by and I still didn't have it turned bc of the family issues and when she asked again, I made a very darastic lie and now she wants to have a parent teacher conference. THE CONFERENCE CANNOT HAPPEN BC MY PARENTS WILL BE MAD AND PROBABLY GROUND ME FOR ALL ETERNITY. I also can't just tell the teacher it was a lie bc our school has a strict policy about liars, I'm on way to a scholarship at Johns Hopkins and I cannot slip up or else it will be revoked. Any suggestions?


Would you rather regret coming home every day for 5 yearor rather one year of misery. You should probably speak to the teacher in private and explain what is going on, and accept the punishment of your teacher. Your parents will still find out but will be happy that you fixed it.i also suggest turning in every bit of work for the rest of the year. My teacher says excuses are for losers, and unless we die, we need to have everything in on time.i do not think you are a loser though. In conclusion it is up to you. Do the right thing, or procrastinate and accept whatever happens. Just do not let anyone abuse you.
